Total Recall! We review all the pertinent events that made 2014 a busy and wonderful year at Club de Soleil
2014 was filled with an abundance of activity at your Vacation Club. Here, in no particular order, are the significant events and accomplishments from the past year that will ensure your enjoyment of Club de Soleil and our excellence for years to come.
The project to install Wi-Fi in all our guest units, an on-again/off-again proposition over the last two years, was completed in August. Now we are wired in all the right places, including (and most importantly) our guest rooms. Now you can enjoy free Wi-Fi with speeds up to one Meg per second throughout the resort. It’s great for web browsing, emails, social media updates and most basic internet operations. Now you don’t have to leave your room and head to one of the common areas to pick up a hotspot.
What’s the point in having HDTVs if you have an analog picture? We asked ourselves that after we installed our new 42-inch high-def televisions. We knew the TVs required a commensurate picture for the best possible result – and in July they got one. Now all our HDTVs are truly hi-def in every respect.
All we wanna do is rock! In January we ripped out the grass at the front entrance to Club 1 and around the perimeter of the Club 1 pool and replaced it with beautiful decorative stone, attractive shrubs and lighting features. It is a dramatic improvement in every way and greatly enhances the look of the resort.
A month later, in February, we resurfaced the Club 1 tennis court. It was stripped down to bare asphalt and relayered with a base coat and new acrylic surface coatings per United States Tennis Association (USTA) standards. It also received new striping and a new net. Even if the surface doesn’t improve your game, we’re sure it will make it much more enjoyable.
We also resurfaced the parking lot and installed vibrant new carpeting.
As you can see, it was a busy and eventful 2014 at Club de Soleil. We wish you all a healthy and prosperous new year and hope to see you here in 2015.
